Undiagnosed Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms (AAA) kill an estimated 25,000 Americans a year…more than AIDS and most types of cancer.

Screens are performed by Board Certified Vascular Sonographers, results are interpreted by Board Certified Radiologists.

These tests are screening exams, and therefore less in-depth as our traditional ultrasonographic workups in people with known disease. This keeps the exam times short and the cost low.

Payment is out-of-pocket for most people. Medicare and most insurance will not cover these tests. Price is $40.00 per screen, or all 3 for $100.00.

1. Stroke Screening/Carotid Artery
   This scans the carotid arteries in the neck for plaque buildup. The #1 cause of stroke is linked to carotid artery blockage.
2. Peripheral Artery Disease Screening
   This screens for peripheral arterial disease (plaque buildup) in the lower extremities, which is linked to coronary artery disease.
3. Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Screening
   This screens for the existence of an aneurysm in the abdominal aorta. The vast majority of people who have an aneurysm have no symptoms.
