MEDICAL SOCIAL WORK

Assists patients and families in resolving personal, financial and psychosocial difficulties that impact and can interfere with their ability to function. Services include psychosocial assessment, counseling, information, and referral. Services are available to patients and families throughout all aspects of the health care system including inpatients, outpatients, home health, hospice, skilled care, long-term care.
