Physical Therapy
ACUTE PHYSICAL THERAPY
Provides
evaluation and treatment of patients with musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary,
neurological, and functional impairments in the acute setting. Services
are directed at functionally improving the patient, so they are
able to return to their pre-hospitalized setting. Physical therapy
is also actively involved in the discharge process and assists in
identifying placement needs of the patients if home is not an immediate
option.

HOME HEALTH PHYSICAL THERAPY
Provide evaluation and treatment for patient services for the clients
who are home bound. Physical therapy concentrates on treating the
functional needs of the client in the home environment. Diagnoses
include musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary, neurological etc. The
primary goal of treatment is functional improvement and to progress
the clients so they can again become part of their community.

OUTPATIENT
PHYSICAL THERAPY
Provides comprehensive functional evaluations and treatment of
clients with a variety of diagnoses including musculoskeletal, neurological,
cardiopulmonary etc. Therapists are qualified to treat clients from
birth through geriatrics. Using state-of-the-art equipment and up-to-date
training techniques, clients are returned to their pre-disability/injury
status. All clients are discharged with an individualized home exercise
program to assist with prevention and re-injury.

TRANSITIONAL CARE PHYSICAL THERAPY
In the skilled unit, physical therapy challenges patients with
higher functional levels of activities. Patients with musculoskeletal,
cardiopulmonary and neurological conditions are evaluated and treated.
The skilled setting serves as a transitional level of care, where
the patient is either discharged home or evaluated for their placement
needs.
