Emergency Response Training

• CPR
  Mercy provides American Heart Heartsaver and Healthcare Provider CPR courses. Courses are approximately 3 hours in length and include lecture and skill training in the areas of adult, child, and infant CPR and AED. Participants receive a CPR card following the course.

• Bystander Trauma Class
  This program is designed to provide the bystander with what to do when coming across a motor vehicle accident prior to the arrival of emergency medical services.

• First Aid
  Heartsaver or healthcare provider class
  This American Heart Association approved course is designed for lay people in the workplace. The student will learn how to help victims of common emergencies while maintaining safety for the rescuer. Allergic reactions, chest pain, asthma, bleeding & burns are some of the topics covered.
