Mercy Silver
Advantage Announces Bus Trip
Mercy Silver Advantage members and guests are invited to
travel to Timber Lake Playhouse in Mt. Carroll, Ill. to see
the play “Philadelphia Story” Wednesday, June
21. The play is about Tracy Lord, the spoiled daughter of
a privileged family. When a gossip column reporter arrives
to find out about Tracy’s wedding arrangements, it begins
a love-hate triangle that is quite possibly one of the funniest
ever written. Katherine Hepburn starred in the Broadway hit
and silver screen classic.
Silver Advantage participants will have lunch before the
play. Cost of the trip is $49, which includes bus transportation,
play tickets and lunch. The group will leave at 11:30 a.m.
in the parking lot across from Snell-Zornig Funeral Home on
3rd Street. Reservations are due by June 2.
