Mercy Silver Advantage Announces Bus Trip

Mercy Silver Advantage members and guests are invited to travel to Timber Lake Playhouse in Mt. Carroll, Ill. to see the play “Philadelphia Story” Wednesday, June 21. The play is about Tracy Lord, the spoiled daughter of a privileged family. When a gossip column reporter arrives to find out about Tracy’s wedding arrangements, it begins a love-hate triangle that is quite possibly one of the funniest ever written. Katherine Hepburn starred in the Broadway hit and silver screen classic.

Silver Advantage participants will have lunch before the play. Cost of the trip is $49, which includes bus transportation, play tickets and lunch. The group will leave at 11:30 a.m. in the parking lot across from Snell-Zornig Funeral Home on 3rd Street. Reservations are due by June 2.
