Preparation for the 2004 Fantasy of Lights is Underway

CLINTON, IA- The planning board for the Fantasy of Lights has set November 19 – 22, 2004 as the dates for the 15th annual festival. The theme will be Winter Fantasy.

Michael Brisch and Rita Dennis will co-chair this year’s event with all proceeds donated to Mercy Medical Center for the advancement of health care in our community.

This extraordinary event has become a tradition of Clinton’s holiday season raising much needed money for items such as renal dialysis and mammography equipment to a state of the art cancer treatment machine for the communities new Radiation Oncology Center expected to open this November.

Visitors can stroll through a spectacular display of trees, wreaths and other holiday décor created by the city’s talented artists and designers. The event is held at Eagle Point Lodge and attracts people of all ages.

The Fantasy of Lights is hosted by volunteers and paid for by donations. Sponsorships for the 2004 event are currently available. The Festival office operates year round through the Mercy Healthcare Foundation located at 1410 North 4th St. Clinton.
