MERCY ANNOUNCES PLANS TO CONTINUE SAVANNA HEALTH CLINIC

Savanna, Illinois -- Mercy Medical Center - Clinton announced today plans to continue operations of the health clinic in Savanna.

Following the announcement of the closure earlier by Medical Associates, Mercy Medical Center will take over operations of the clinic on Monday June 13 th for residents of Savanna and the surrounding area. Nurse Practitioner Lonnie Kraft and Licensed Practical Nurse Teresa Ross will continue to provide health services at the clinic located at 333 Chicago Avenue in Savanna.

“Our mission is to work together and with others to promote the well-being of people in the communities we serve,” said Donna Oliver, CEO of Mercy Medical Center in Clinton. “We were called by members of the Savanna community to respond to the closure of the Medical Associates Clinic and the need for this vital service to the community to remain. Mercy Medical Center is committed to fulfilling our mission to provide care for those in need.”

Initially, the Mercy Clinic of Savanna will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m Monday, Wednesday and Friday. To minimize any wait-time, appointments are suggested, but walk-ins are also welcome at the clinic. Appointments can be made by calling (815) 273-7110.
